Been there. I worked for a music streaming company. We never had any problem with Google (admittedly, Google does not care about Google Music and does not know what to do with it, which is a shame) but oh boy, getting an update to come out on iOS was a pretty big challenge. We were sometimes even months without being able to push an update.
