The link to the source for the image [1] has just a jumble of keywords as a description, but would seem to indicate that it's a 3D render and not a photo. Possibly explaining the mysterious glowing staircase as well. See also the similarly tagged images such as [2] which seems to also include a non-kitchen over in its back corner. The 8-person table and the children's toys are inappropriate for what's probably a 1 room apartment. (That kitchen isn't big enough to store food for a family.)
