I predict they'll reach a backroom deal and that this abuse of power from Apple continues towards anyone who doesn't have the power to push back (unlike Spotify, Netflix, Uber, etc). On a sidenote - I can't help but wonder who'll pay 100$/year for an email client. This product to me will be the decider between users no longer willing to pay for anything unless they absolutely have to, and people being rational and understanding that if the benefit outweighs the cost, the price doesn't matter.
