I have used Rusoto to build a small tool to list all ECS container images of all clusters of different AWS accounts. It helped me at my company to have a quick overview of application versions deployed in different environments (1 account per environment). I migrated it recently to async/await and the code was much easier to read. Could have done it in Python's boto3 or any other SDK. Rust does not give a performance benefit since it is mostly waiting for AWS answers but that was an opportunity for me to just write some Rust code.
