where do you go instead?
- yepthatsreality 6y agoI just started having the conversations with my peers and colleagues instead. The net benefit of getting upvoted here is minimal and the social/networking aspects as well. In person convos really can be much more rewarding and fruitful because you can focus it rather than post on HN and some person comes along who is offended can derail and kill the conversation. I’m honestly more jaded about online interaction than most though.
