- waheoo 6y agoWhile i kinda wish mac users would stop trying to give us homebrew, im open minded. Im curious how this works with linux package managers that already exist, does this work like how the aur and aur helpers layer over pacman but maintain compatibility with the community repos?
- jorams 6y agoIf it's like Nix and Guix in that regard, it is completely separate from them.
- andrewchambers 6y agoIt has transparent build caching, with more features coming around this, so building expensive things should not happen much. If having access to source code seems bad to you, I don't know if this tool is for you anyway.
