After reading the post article (which was interesting), that tweet fits his MO, which seems to be "convert words into money without particular concern for quality or value". I doubt he actually believes the two things are comparable, rather he knows there's the right mix of pseudo logic and gratuitous drama to appeal to his target demographic.
