This is not at all how things are.
1. Experts did not capitulate on shutdowns. And protesting can't exactly be banned if that's what you mean. Really though it were the current president's supporters that so badly wanted essential haircuts from the outset, once even storming a state capitol with guns. White guys though, so didn't get hit even with rubber bullets there!
2. The killing of this one black man was just the straw that broke the camel's back – many, many black people had to die before him without justice for people to come out like this.
3. He got a funeral because he became a symbol of this historic series of events, not just because.
- mydongle 6y ago1. Did the white guys riot and burn down businesses? Don't remember anything getting violent there. Stepping foot into a state capitol doesn't imply there was so much chaos and violence that police had to get involved. 2. So many of them supposedly got unjustifiably killed before, but only now, during a pandemic did they decide to come out like this? 3. I'd say we live in a clown world when we give someone who threatened a pregnant woman at gunpoint a glorified funeral during a time when everyone else is refused one.
