The number sign (pound sign, octothorpe, etc) separates the fragment identifier from the URL. Browsers don't send characters after the # to the server. It work

The number sign (pound sign, octothorpe, etc) separates the fragment identifier from the URL. Browsers don't send characters after the # to the server.
