I haven't checked in a while but on mobile, responding to threads would collapse the text completely on itself in the new layout. The problem persisted for months and I ended up dropping Reddit from my reading list altogether. Incredible how a billion dollar corporation can be so bad at doing the basics right. Twitter is the same - I still can't play videos on the first try 80% of the time.
