- rak 6y agoI'm looking for a way to get the larger, non-POC tech community involved. Dope to hear about Chicago though and greetings from D.C.
- ternarybash 6y agoHola. Yeah, overall I hear people taking stances at FANG companies and such, especially in the AI and surveillance world. I believe that's going to be the big issue in the next decade. As for getting involved, I'd start looking at meet ups in your local area. Simple things such as going over privacy focused apps could go a long way.
- dvtrn 6y agoIn Chicago there is a POC developer meet up. This is relevant to me, and had not heard of this meetup. Can you share a link to this?
- ternarybash 6y agoYup, np. https://www.meetup.com/People-of-Color-Code/ https://www.meetup.com/People-of-Color-Code/ They're a cool bunch of people there. Even non-poc show up as well.
- dvtrn 6y agoAppreciate it! Will share with another coworker, he and I have been looking for something like this and considered starting a similar guild within our org (already have buy in from my technology executive and HR, which is dope!)
