Maximal cooperation?
Two schools of thought:
1. Maximal cooperation require maximal composability
2. Maximal cooperation requires some dictatorship
Interestingly I find that this is quite embodied in two of my favourite languages - Go and Haskell.
Haskell is all about composition. And it does so by dictatorship of its type system.
Go is dictatorial in the sense that there is one way to do things, but encourages compositionality, coming from a unix world where pipes are everything.
