Knowledge comes before acceptance. Apart from those of us who live on tech sites, normal users would be completely clueless.
Even among those who know, only a fraction would be bothered enough to take action.
- catalogia 6y agoMany Windows users may not know there's a better way, but I can hardly think that's an excuse for developers writing proprietary freeware for Windows. Surely they've heard of open source at some point, they just don't give a damn.
