- esperent 6y agoIt uses _so_ much memory. I recently added an extra 16gb stick to my laptop, maybe I'll give it another try.
- droid_w 6y agoCodota/TabNine CEO here. TabNine's memory requirements are derived from the inherent memory consumption of a large neural model. We are actively working on a lightweight model. You can try our Pro plan which uses GPU-accelerated cloud servers (2 weeks free trial) instead of predicting the model on your machine
- tinco 6y agoIt's only too much if you need that memory for something else though. If it manages to be responsive with that memory and you only have 1 ide open, I don't think 3gb should be a problem on a modern system.
- roguas 6y agoIt always starts with this premise, suddenly every application no matter how silly demands 3gb. I understand that progress often happens by putting more attention to other aspects than economics, but again some people may value that progress less.
