A judge ultimately agreed to limit some aspects of Moyer’s role at Google for the term of the agreement. IIRC they've also won others in the past, yes. I also imagine it's not just about actually winning but also about the fact that even if they lose every suit, it would still discourage employees from making the switch if they suspect they will have a legal fight ahead of them (even if the employee knows they'll win).
