DuckDuckGo also have their own indexer/crawler too. Yahoo Search does a similar thing AFAIK.

Yahoo Search does a similar thing AFAIK. Yeah, Yahoo used to have their own search index, and very developer friendly search API called Yahoo Boss. That was actually the main source of DDG results originally. Yahoo has since given up on Search, shut down the Boss search API, and is now also fed by Microsoft Bing.
