A more fair comparison should include excess mortality for African Americans as a start. 83570 [1] excess deaths in 2002. Another study says AfAm likely death by 65 38-50%, white 20-33%. That's direct deaths. I personally would also include life lost in incarceration for basically nothing (way to many sad examples to list).
