Ask HN: How to work with smart engineers if you cannot in your regular job

It's a common advice to find a group of people smarter than you, so that you are challenged. But not everyone would have that luxury, for any number of reasons. How can someone who is not in a position to switch/transfer to another work environment where he/she can find super smart people to work with? Reading, watching videos etc. helps, but I am more interested in finding people who can tell me "You know nothing". P.S. Not saying that I don't work with smart people now.
