The universe is very aloof and unresponsive and ignorant of what we want or not. It's not trying to spite you when you fail, it just doesn't know what the hell we want from it. This is a good way to view it, thanks. I'm just trying to figure out how humans, with personal intentions of constructing things, fit into this framework.
