Has anyone gone out there with a sound level meter? If it's that loud, won't it drown out sirens or car horns??
- ComputerGuru 6y agoSound perception is extremely complex and nuanced. The brain can tune out both specific frequencies and baseline shift while the ears are more sensitive to some frequencies over others. This sound is fairly pure and doesn’t really overlap with other artificially created sounds you’d encounter about the city, but I’m not an expert!
