How to Code Unstoppable Nonviolent Revolutions
- creative_bud 6y ago>"changing the incentives of the oppressor" So I suppose then that the incentives causing 65% of black children to be raised in single family homes will be changed by these protests? Or perhaps the incentives causing the low rate of high school graduation and college attendance among black students? What about the incentives causing massive black on black violence - which dwarfs any other type of violence against the black community - which ultimately destroys thousands of black lives and communities across the US each year? At what point to we look in the mirror and realize that black people are oppressing themselves? That's why these protests are a sham. They're diverting tremendous anger and frustration from the actual problems the black community faces to red herrings that angry people are using for political purposes.
- supercanuck 6y agoBLM is protesting Police Brutality. You sound like you might need a reminder.

- creative_bud 6y agoFirst it was "police are killing innocent black people every day". When that was shown to be a complete lie the narrative changed to "well it's actually about racialized police brutality". Now as evidence is being spread widely that racialized police brutality is really a canard - see [1] though that is just one of many examples - the narrative is changing again. The net result of all this mindless virtue signaling will be greater racial division, more media approved lies being spread about the police and "systemic racism", and ultimately more crime and violence in black communities as the nonsensical "Defund the Police" meme infects cities nationwide. This has been tried before with disastrous effects. See Baltimore and Newark, NJ. - sukilot 6y agoReminds me of a protest sign I saw: "You kill our fathers and then mock us for not having them." Yes, it's much easier if they stick to complaining about things that the overclass can make up excuses to justify, than if they complain about things we cant sweep under the rug and blame the victims for.
- creative_bud 6y agoYou do realize that the vast majority of black men are killed by other black men. Half the time I feel like I'm arguing with people who must know they're wrong but don't care because they're so obsessed with taking on the "overclass", whatever that is.
- Gibbon1 6y ago> What about the incentives causing massive black on black violence - which dwarfs any other type of violence against the black community - which ultimately destroys thousands of black lives and communities across the US each year? You are now talking about the effect of atrocious and counter productive 'policing' of black communities.
