One of the Go un-features that is so very nice -- the very first Go code I ever wrote, 7 years ago, still compiles perfectly. It's great to not have stuff just rot behind your back. (True for the language, not quite true for the ecosystem, since the switch to modules fucked a lot fo shit up, with some tooling _still_ not back to pre-modules levels of quality.)
