They’re a frigging disaster in every way imaginable. “Unix is seriously uncool with young people at the moment.” Unix is half a century old. It’s old enough to be your Dad. Hell, it’s old enough to be your Grandad! It’s had 50 years to better itself and it hasn’t done squat. Linux? Please. That’s just a crazy cat lady living in Unix’s trash house. Come back when you’ve a modern successor to Plan 9 that is easy, secure, and doesn’t blow huge UI/UX chunks everywhere.
