My SO and I are registered NPA. Sucks because we're blocked from voting in the primaries, but I'd rather not be associated with any single party. One way we prepare for voting is we take the sample ballot and spend as many evenings (after the littles are asleep) as we can researching, individually, everything and every one on the ballot. We then discuss. We then fill out our sample ballot to take with us. Note, we do not vote the same. That's not the point. The point is to have a discussion and to help each other understand as much about what is on the ballot as we possibly can.
