- aSplash0fDerp 6y agoThis appeared to be a valid point (why the downvote). An underlying pandemic throws most of the historical data out the window. Just ask Hertz, AMC and Las Vegas.
- amiga_500 6y agoWhy the downvote? Because there are a few people who downvote anything negative for landlords on this board, and as we can see from the replies to this story, there are many landlords on hacker news.
- aSplash0fDerp 6y agoWell. 1st one to the door (selling artificially inflated assets) does not guarantee success. I'm sure many/most landlords are still rooted in reality and are still using the infamous investing formula of "where there are losers, there are winners" (aka buy low, sell high).
