This isn't the first route leading straight to satellites. I forget the name of the provider, but there is at least one big allocation where whatever you're sending to it is basically coming straight back down as radio.

- walrus01 6y agoAll of the major geostationary telecom satellite owners (intelsat, eutelsat, SES, etc) operate their own ASes and IP networks. Nothing quite leads "straight" to a satellite, but you can definitely look at the prefixes announced by a company like Intelsat and try to make intelligent guesses as to which earth station it correlates with. for instance: https://bgp.he.net/AS12684 https://bgp.he.net/AS12684
