Strictly personal observation. I was a press photographer when I was a student as a side job, shooting film. I used to like early mobile phone photos because their (horrendous) defects and imperfections could be used to their advantage. Part of their charm. Somewhat like 'toy' camera such as the Holga. Now that phones are getting real good, I never use them. I like the tactile feel of my (compact) camera and for now the phone is no match for the glass. And for me, especially in print, the difference is still enormous. I don't have a particular bone to pick. If you enjoy shooting pics then do so.
