- canrev2000 16y agoI'm not sure what you're saying here... that HN is a popularity contest? Please explain. Also, the post specifically said "one" engineer is being hired. Now it's been edited to imply more than one.
- paraschopra 16y agoWe did not edit the post. The role is 'software engineer' and we have multiple positions for that role.

- paraschopra 16y agoThere are lot of Indians on HN and I think they appreciate a job posting by an Indian startup, just the same way they do for other startups. What's so special about being in Delhi that a job posting isn't going to be attractive?
- vimalg2 16y agoParas is my role model for the growing Indian Startup scene. # Bootstrapped # Good challenges at work. # Pays his engineers well because of Day 1 Cashflow. I sincerely hope he attracts the best talent; he deserves it. I cant say the same for the rest of the so-called 'startups' in India. Equity/ownership is unheard of in most places. Note to Indian 'Founders': The word 'startup' is not an euphemism for 'pays peanuts because we are small'. ;)

- paraschopra 16y agoThanks for your kind words! Yep, plan is to pay at par with best companies out there. Startup shouldn't mean less salary!
