Unpopular opinion: Anything that promotes (directly or indirectly) less driver engagement with driving should just be banned from civilian roads. I'm sure one day when everyone is being driven by allsensing selfdriving vehicles road deaths will have massively decreased. Until then, technologist just will have to learn how to get there in much more controlled environment. A legal waiver or T&Cs should not be the only thing 'protecting' the next self driving victim.

I take it you turn off your phone and the car radio when driving, and also tell all of your passengers they must also turn off their phones and maintain strict silence.
