In this pattern of cases, the system is the perpetrator of extra-judicial violence. We've had plenty of time for the system to correct itself, and it hasn't. Now a precinct gets burned down, a cop gets charges the next day, and I'm like, okay ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ that seemed to work. It's not about revenge, it's about fixing the system by any means necessary. Fire works, protest signs haven't been.
- asdfgtrewq 6y agoHave to wonder does anyone pay attention to the facts? * He did not obey any orders given to him by officers. * Police had to pull him out of his car. * He resisted the arrest after that. * Threw himself down on ground before they could put him in police vehicle. * Said he can't breathe, which all criminals say to loosen the grip of officers. However his autopsy shows he died of drug overdose and heart conditions. And officer doing his job is a bad guy?
