- xabotage 6y agoThis. I have worked and developed on the HoloLens; it is 20% cool tech demo and 80% cardboard propped up by Microsoft's over-eager marketing (think Xbox Kinect). Only difference between them and Magic Leap is that Microsoft has a large swath of existing gullible enterprise customers who will happily buy whatever superfluous products they can be talked into buying, whereas I guess Magic Leap's core competencies are on the opposite end, selling to gullible VCs.
