So basically you're broke, struggling to maintain abroad while being chained along with the promise of a green card. When year 4/5 rolls around and it becomes time to pay the green card piper, they just fire you instead because legal paperwork is expensive and everything you struggled to build for yourself in America is instantly gone. Want that green card? Start the process over, 5 more years of indentured slavery. It's not sustainable for anyone. I'd prefer they pay you what Americans make if they're going to ask you to live and work in America.
