That is what puts me off trying LSD. It seems that unless you live in the Bay area and are friends with certain organic chemists, your chances of getting good quality, real LSD are slim. However, mushrooms are quite easy to grow.

  It is not that popular as a drug and there can't be that many people world-wide capable of producing it.

    Nah, it's an extremely popular drug and right now it's probably more available than any time since the sixties.

That isn't true here in the UK at least, it is easy and quite cheap to get real LSD. Also it's pretty easy to test too

LSD is one of the purest recreational drugs you can buy. If it's LSD it's 'good' LSD. Occasionally dox or nbome are sold as LSD but even that is relatively rare. Also you can just order it online.

  "Just order it online" make it sound like it's Amazon. In practice you're going to need BTC, a VPN, and several other safeguards.

    You don't need a VPN and in most (western) countries getting btc is now trivial. Not as easy as amazon of course but often easier than depositing money in a poker site for example. And that's not even mentioning that you can just legally order 1p-lsd on the clearnet the same way you'd order anything (though the UK, Germany and a few others have clamped down on it a bit).

    Empire is just like Amazon There was a time "just using Amazon" meant a whole setup that was not ubiquitous. People also are passionate about making darknet seem like a scary place, I've seen many askreddit threads about the "scariest thing you've seen on darknet" with anything to the contrary losing consensus very quickly. Found that odd and contrived.

      A lot of regularly repeated things you must do don't even seem based on evidence. Like the bible everyone says to follow suggests all these overcomplicated things, it comes off as written by pretend lawyers.
