- joshuamorton 6y agoTwitter also doesn't fact check Republicans. It fact checks exactly one person, known for spreading misinformation.
- philosopher1234 6y agoOk. Let’s not play coy. Is there a particular case where you felt a Democrat fact check was warranted? Frankly I don’t think the democrats lie as much (of course democrats do lie though) as the republican representatives. Furthermore, there’s no democrat with a platform like trump using it as abusively as he is. Trump is in a unique position, and if anyone needs to be fact checked, it’s him. There’s no question in my mind that trump is doing nasty things with his office and his reach, and I’d take a biased fact checker over no fact checker 9 times out of 10.
- isoskeles 6y agoI don't use Twitter, so I couldn't point out a specific tweet. But offhand, let's say any tweet accusing the Trump campaign of collusion with Russia. I'm sure there are hundreds.
