Interestingly, I've been hitting the age bias from the other end. I mostly work with factories and NDT companies, retrofitting old CNC systems. I have a hard time getting work at certain types of companies because they think that I "look too young" to be experienced enough to work with their systems; granted, I do look pretty young for my age. It's kind of funny to hear it coming from the other side, but I imagine at a lot of pure-software companies, the age biased is reversed from what I've experienced.
