Out of curiousity, why did you reply to me?
- bmelton 16y agoBecause generally, the person who makes the clickable link is the person affiliated with the project, would be my guess. I generally don't pay much attention to usernames around here (or anywhere) -- and it'd be easy to see how one might jump to the conclusion that the 'clickable' provider was the same person who posted the OP.
- jrgifford 16y agoPrecisely the conclusion that I jumped to.
- RiderOfGiraffes 16y agoActually, in my experience most of the time the clickable link is not provided by the person submitting the item in the first place. It's a cause of constant, low-level irritation to me that people submit things like this and then don't make a clickable link in the comments. I don't understand why they don't, but they don't. It's almost as if they don't care. Curious, and annoying.
- sunsai 16y agoSorry mate, I am new to Hacker News; I will remember next time :)
