Because Harvard doesn’t want that. The value of that degree is 90% signaling and 10% networking. If anyone could go that would remove most of the value.

- glitchc 6y agoDon't get me wrong, campus enrollment will still be limited. Online certifications have no limits. All Harvard has to do is internally stratify their degrees, online vs on-campus, and have it say so right on the diploma. They could serve 100x the current enrollment count and still remain exclusive.
