Hi, I have never been to US. My country has state funded media that works well. However I follow the developments in Poland and Hungary so I am very well aware how quickly these media can get under control of the politicians. The comment above you are referencing is simply saying there is not the same type of media operating in US and therefore it is impossible that the same thing is happening in US. There might be other nasty stuff happening but exactly the same.
