A friend of mine had two job interviews lined up back to back for two game studios. On the first interview he bombed pretty poorly, but the interviewers were great guys who explained every solution and helped him work through the problems. On the second interview they asked the exact same questions and he got the job offer. He's now got his name credited to several AAA games and moved in with an indie studio to publish his personal project under them.
