I'd LOVE to work from an apartment in Surfers Paradise or Broadbeach in the Gold Coast (AU/QLD) with ocean views. Not necessarily a super cheap area but the lifestyle is great (to me at least) and the views are AMAZING if you can get them. Property prices are the killer, but the actual cost of living isn't really that high over there and the public transport is fantastic so you wouldn't even need a car.
