- city41 6y agoI like the Santa Rosa area, Sonoma, even the Sacramento area can be nice if you’re ok with hot summers. I’ve never been to Palm Springs myself but have heard good things. Ventura is also reasonable considering what you get: beach, proximity to LA and right next door to beautiful Santa Barbera.
