Ha, that's a good point, actually. I suspect it's mostly, but not entirely true. In my circles the 'meet at a bar or other public place' circle is significantly wider than the 'meeting at someone's place' circle. But perhaps even that looser circle is still good enough compared to the pre-lockdown situation (clubs being open, for one).
