I was honestly almost phished a couple of times until one of my professors said something I had never though about before.
"If you have a password manager, use the password manager's 'take me to site' function instead of anything on the email. Just open the site from your password manager instead"
- londons_explore 6y agoExcept a good number of emails aren't directing you to their site in general, but a specific page on their site, that might be very hard or impossible to find any other way.
- WrtCdEvrydy 6y agoRight, but if you login to wellsfargo.com and click on a link to a specific page on wellsfargo.com, you will be logged in already...
- renewiltord 6y agoHilariously untrue of Chase where you can go from Chase Travel (using your CC points) to your Chase Account page back and find yourself confronted by a login wall at the Chase Travel page.
