This sounds a lot more sinister than "my coworker had to delete some files to go back under his quota".
- thephyber 6y agoHe lost many MBs of files. He had a local filesystem directory synced with GDrive. He moved (didn't copy) lots of files into the directory and ended up losing all copies of some of the files (we still aren't sure how it picks which subset to keep). It was basically a few weeks of work because he didn't understand the implications of the change (and because he didn't have drive backups).
