I wish this were true. Well, you're not completely wrong- An outright asshole is getting by on confidence alone. But a guy who is polite but disarmingly arrogant, condescending in subtle ways, is much more desirable than a confident nice guy.

Someone eavesdropping might even take it out of context and interpret it as arrogant or condescending but it's just a little game -- not in some "pick up artist" sense; it's ideally very natural. Works for me. While we can argue all day long about what makes for the most desirable man, I still contend that you can have more (desirable) women want you than you could possibly ever get around to and be a nice guy.
