Am I the only one who goes crazy when they see someone write "outsourced" when they mean "offshored"? These are different concepts.

- mehrdadn 6y agoI'd become numb to the distinction at this point, but yes, now that you reminded me it's bothering me too. Similar story with "disclaimer" and "disclosure", "third world" and "developing world", etc.
- goatinaboat 6y agoIf your company starts using Tata or Wipro or whoever, then they are both outsourcing and offshoring so the two concepts are very closely intertwined.
