Your comment presumes two things: 1) that lockdowns have reduced the number of deaths, 2) that the reason for increases in all-cause mortality is COVID-19 and not second-order effects from the lockdowns. I have been trying to consume both raw data and expert commentary on both of these matters, and I'm not not convinced that either are true. Can you point me to expert commentary which convincingly makes the case for either or both of these?
