My nextdoor community is pretty quiet, mostly people seeking handymen, landscapers, etc., lost and found pets, overall pretty quiet and boring. Every now and then there is flare up around some issue, such as, fireworks, junk cars, prowlers, and so on. But they are pretty minor compared to FB or Twitter. Few people engage in that behavior in my neighborhood nextdoor I guess. The city and police share out the same stuff they do on their facebook pages and official website.
