Hong Kong is a colonial relic, it makes all the sense in the world for China to reintegrate this former imperial outpost now.
- chr1 6y agoChina itself is a colonial relic, it just happens to be a relic of a much older and much more cruel empire. In a more lucky timeline, it would have crumbled similar to Roman empire, and now, instead of one mega-dictatorship, there would be an alliance of multiple independent countries.
