'USA signals plan to take full control of Native American Nations' is a closer analogy....and just as unethical.
- ezVoodoo 6y agoIt seems you think the land of HongKong has been part of UK and swam to China from Europe? Have you received any history or geography education ever? Westerners took the American land from the native Americans, the same way they took HK from China in year 1841. Before that date, HK has always been Chinese territory. So, no, 'USA signals plan to take full control of Native American Nations' is an awful analog.
- _iyig 6y agoGiven the historical, cultural, legal, and linguistic differences between Beijing and Hong Kong, perhaps the UK and Ireland are a better analogy here. "London signals plan to take full control of Dublin" would not go over well. - mdorazio 6y agoYour argument is completely ridiculous. Look at a map from 1841 and compare it today. By your logic, every difference in territory that's occurred over the intervening 180 years is invalid and should be reverted. Better tell Europe they need to redraw all their maps.
